After processing semen

At the end of the collection session
1	Turn off the microscope, warming plate and water bath. Cover the microscope
2	Remove all other dirty equipment
3	Empty all trash bins
4	Never use soap, detergents or disinfectants when washing non disposable AI equipment as this will kill sperm. Wash all non disposable equipment with distilled water. Place in drying cabinet
5	Completely dismantle and thoroughly clean all collection holders
6	Ensure the laboratory is tidy and all pieces of equipment are returned to their correct positions
7	Sweep or clean the floor and clean all surfaces using Decon 50.
8	Check all equipment and re-order supplies
9	Check white overalls and wellingtons are clean
10	Ensure the laboratory is secure on leaving
