Standard Treatment Regimes
Fortunately, the boar is normally only
subjected to a small number of common complaints. A guideline
for stock people should be designed in consultation with your
veterinarian. The standard treatment routines provided are
advisory only and are to give a guide to the type of detail
required. Ideally, medicate boars by mouth using tablets to
avoid upsetting the stockman/boar relationship. Medication by
mouth can be easily provided by "hiding" the medication in an
apple, grape or chocolate, for example.
