Use of slap marker |

|
|
Pigs must be
slapped on each shoulder It is not
necessary to hit the pig hard if the slapmarker is well maintained Slap pigs in an
area where the slapmarker can be swung without hitting the wall or other pigs |

|
If specific
pigs need identification add additional letters to the end of the herd
number. For example pigs on a growth
trial or medicated on “antibiotic” free systems |
