Farrowing – heating and piglet care
Using a creep area (if you are using a heat pad)
The following provides guidance for providing heating to the piglet.
The important consideration is that the piglet requires an ambient temperature of 30C
The sow/gilt however, requires an ambient temperature of 16-18C

Turn on rear heat lamp |
